The four corner suites at the ends of the crescent, with a jungle-fringed pool and Merapi framed in the living room.
At each end of the crescent the hillside turns, and the four Merapi Pool Suites take the turn. Their living pavilions face north-east, so Merapi and Merbabu stand framed between the teak columns, and the 14-metre private pools are edged with tree ferns and coconut palms. The bedroom has a king bed and a stone-walled bathroom with a deep tub under a skylight; a sofa bed in the living pavilion sleeps a third guest. An outdoor bath on the terrace is filled with frangipani at dusk on request. These are the suites we suggest for honeymoons and for the volcano sunrise excursion, which leaves from the door. 190 square metres including the pool, for up to three guests.
Free cancellation until 72 hours before arrival. After that, or for a no-show, the first night is charged. Advance purchase rates are non-refundable.
