On the upper arc of the crescent, a dome-roofed suite whose terrace looks straight across the plain to Borobudur.
These ten suites hold the best seats in the house for sunrise. Set higher on the hillside, each faces due east across the Kedu Plain, so that on a clear morning the stupas of Borobudur appear above the mist about four kilometres away, with Merapi and Merbabu behind them. The layout follows the Garden Suite — a king bed beneath a stone dome, a dressing room lined in teak, a bathroom with a sunken terrazzo tub and an outdoor shower — but the terrace is larger and raised, with a dining table for two and a gazebo-style bale for lying out under the stars. Breakfast is served here on request. 95 square metres, for two adults and one child.
Free cancellation until 72 hours before arrival. After that, or for a no-show, the first night is charged. Advance purchase rates are non-refundable.
