The space

The highest point of the estate, a stone terrace with nothing between you and Borobudur but four kilometres of mist and paddy. It is where couples marry at sunrise, where small groups take a champagne breakfast as the stupas emerge, and where yoga is held on full-moon mornings.

Worth knowing

Sunrise ceremonies begin at 05:15; the terrace is lit by lanterns before dawn.

Hire terms

A date is held with a 30% deposit and confirmed with the signed contract. The balance is due 30 days before the event. Final numbers are guaranteed 7 days before. Hire prices are before 10% tax and 11% service.
