How far is the resort from Borobudur?
About four kilometres, ten minutes by car. Our guides take guests into the temple before sunrise every morning; the walk can be booked through the concierge.
Which airport should I fly into?
Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) is about 80 minutes away by road. We meet every flight with the resort's car on request; the transfer is included for Dalem Jiwa Villa guests.
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 12:00. If you arrive early from a night flight, the Jamu Bar, the pool and a shower in the spa are yours until the suite is ready.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast for two is included on every rate except Room only. It is served at Pendopo Agung from 7:00 to 10:30, or on your own terrace if you prefer.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free until 72 hours before arrival. After that, or for a no-show, the first night is charged. Advance purchase rates are non-refundable.
Are rates inclusive of tax?
Rates are shown before 10% regional tax and 11% service, which are added to the bill.
Do you welcome children?
Yes. Children of all ages are welcome; under-threes stay free, and a cot or rollaway bed can be added in every suite. Babysitting can be arranged with a day's notice.
When is the best time to visit?
The dry season, May to October, brings the clearest sunrises over Borobudur and Merapi. The green season, November to April, has afternoon rain but the rice terraces are at their most beautiful.
Can we hold a wedding at the resort?
Yes. The Menoreh Lawn seats up to 180 for dinner, the Pendopo Agung Pavilion 90, and the Sunrise Terrace is for small ceremonies at dawn. Our wedding team arranges traditional Javanese ceremonies as well as civil and blessing ceremonies.
